Martin was the first Austrian to complete the study Environmental Engineering (main area: waste management and water protection) at the Technical University of Berlin. He co-founded TBU and is its managing director. Martin has over 20 years of experience as a consultant and planner in environmental engineering.

His work focuses on design, optimisation and technical-economic auditing and integration of recycling and waste treatment facilities. Another area of his activities is the planning and development of sustainable waste management systems. As a senior consultant, he is often faced with the challenge of ensuring successful integration and implementation of such systems within the various economic and political context.

Jürgen Peters is - same as Martin Steiner - a graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Technology at the Technical University of Berlin (main area: waste and water resource management). After several years as a consulting engineer (strategic waste management planning, landfill construction, remediation of contaminated sites), he held executive management positions in the municipal utilities (sewage, waste) of two medium-sized German cities (Osnabrück and Bielefeld).

Jürgen maintains experience out of 30 years of managing the structural implementation and operation of environmental infrastructure systems (city drainage, sewage treatment plants, landfill) in accordance with the requirements of TSM (Technical Safety Management). In recent years, this expertise has been transferred to other municipal service areas, in emerging and developing countries with a focus on wastewater treatment.

Markus Taibon oversees the company's mobile station for solid waste auditing and maintains 25 years of experience in waste analysis and plant optimization (with projects in Austria, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, the United Arab Emirates and Kyrgyzstan). Since 2002 he has carried out at least two landfill gas measurements every year at various landfills in Germany and abroad. Other areas of activity are occupational safety and operational waste management and environmental concepts.

Bernhard´s core expertise area also represents solid waste auditing & optimization of solid waste treatment plants.

So far most of his work took place internationally with projects in Germany (eg. optimization works at a large MBT in Hanover), Italy, Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates.
