Martin was the first Austrian to complete the study Environmental Engineering (main area: waste management and water protection) at the Technical University of Berlin.  He co-founded TBU and is its managing director. Martin has 20 years of experience as a consultant and planner in environmental engineering.

His work focuses on design, optimisation and technical-economic auditing and integration of recycling and waste treatment facilities.  Another area of his activities is the planning and development of sustainable waste management systems.  As a senior consultant, he is often faced with the challenge of ensuring successful integration and implementation of such systems within the various economic and political context.
