Transfer of ´retired´ collection gear (glass containers as an example) from Austria to Bosnia-Herzegovina

Objective:
Comprehensive rollout of a glass waste collection program for a community of 300,000 people  

Timeframe: July 2019 - December 2021 *)

Three *) project partners: BASWA = national (BiH) member of ISWA International Solid Waste Association | TBU GmbH | Umwelt Verein Tirol, Association of Environmental Consultants Tyrol

plus the public cleansing departments in the cities of Bijeljina (Republika Srpska, RS), Gracanica and Tuzla (Bosnian Federation, FBiH), altogether about 270.000 inhabitants.

Transferred to date (origin: Solid Waste Board of Eastern Tyrol):

10 x 1.5 m³ containers for glass packaging (jars, bottles etc)
30 x 1.1 m³ containers (to be used in BiH as a substitute for non-existant waste receptacles, previously used in Austria for collecting plastic packaging and waste paper).
